Happy Turkey Day!!
{More appropriately} Happy Thanksgiving!!
So sorry, again, for my lack of blogger up-keep. I seriously love you guys and PROMISE to be back in full force. This week was a looooong week, as you know, and now we are prepping for our big meal here!
Jason and I both come from divorced families, so our holidays can sometimes be spread thin. We try very hard to see everyone and make sure that everyone feels the love. Thanksgiving, though, is the one holiday that we don't travel. We spend the day at our house, welcoming anyone and everyone, with hopes and prayers that who we can't be with understands. And they do. They rock.
With that said, I think that this is the perfect moment to start of our final edition of Thankful Thursdays!
Won't you join me??
Won't you join me??
I am so thankful...
for ALL of our family. You are all so special in each way and are equally important in our lives. We could never tell you enough how much you truly mean to us. We love you SO SO much! Thank you for loving us back :)
our friends. Especially those that when you FINALLY get to hang out it is like no time has passed at all. THOSE are your true friends.
for my husband, Jason. There is a reason you and I met. We were meant to be in each others lives. I love you. Forever.
for the amazing surgeons, anesthesiologist, and medical staff that took such precious care of Gwen. They really made an awful experience as bearable as possible. And Gwen is doing SO wonderfully! What more could you ask for?!?!
for blogging. I have met some AH-mazing people. I wish that you all lived closer and that we could hang, drink coffee, chat, let our kiddos run around together. I can't thank you enough for the support that you sent our way. It means the world to me :)
And last, but certainly not least...
for my beautiful, healthy, smart, loving daughter Gwen. {Gwen, you have changed my lives in so many ways, and continue to each and every day. You are my WORLD. I promise to love and protect you every day of my life.}
There it is. The best of the best.
I hope that you have tons to be thankful for today, and everyday.
Have a great Thanksgiving... enjoy all the turkey, family, football, wine {booze}, board games, apple/pumpkin pie, that you can!
And to all you crazy Black Friday go-getters, GOOD LUCK!! I, myself, do not participate, YET... lol. Maybe when Gwen wants some big ticket items.
xoxo.

Eric and I also come from a lot of divorce. I hate that we have to run so much and can't enjoy the holidays as much as we like. I love your idea though. :) So many wonderful reasons to be thankful! Hope you guys have a Happy Thanksgiving! So glad to hear Gwen is doing so well. :)
