In the past few weeks I have been experiencing something that I didn't think would happen to me, and although I have shared it with just a few people, I think that I am ready to share it with you...
Hello. My name is Samantha,
and I have "baby fever."
Not what you were expecting?!? :)
It's true though. With Gwen's 1st birthday approaching QUICKLY, I have spent some time looking at ALL of the pictures from this past year... and I miss it already :(
I miss that tiny little newborn that fits in the palm of your hand, their little cry, coos, and everything that happens in those first few months {ok, well maybe not the late night feeding stuff}... but yes, I want another baby.
Let me also say that, although, I am missing all of that stuff, I am LOVING every minute of Gwen. She is at such a fun age, she is such a great baby that she makes me want to do it all over again!
Relax, though. It's not happening... yet.
In the next year, we have 7, yes s-e-v-e-n, weddings to attend, with my brother's {which I am a part of} being in late August. THEREFORE, we won't be trying until then.
Besides, I do have enough common sense to know that I can completely take advantage of all this alone time and bonding that I have with Gwen. I will never have this opportunity again, so I intend to maximize it to the fullest.
But, just thought that I would share that with you...

oh my gosh...she does look SO big!!! And baby fever...i hear ya - I too have been thinking about it alot but really love the stage Addie is at and don't feel like it would be fair to add to our family right now. Funny though...next summer is kind of the "start trying" time frame we had in mind too!!!
I really really really miss the baby stage too...but I know I could NOT handle having a toddler and a baby at the same time. YIKES!
